“So how does this actually work?” – that’s the question we hear most often from clients before submitting their first inquiry. Below we describe, step by step, the whole journey from first contact to an installed glass structure – so you know what to expect at every stage.
Step 1: Inquiry
It all starts with sending us information about your project – dimensions (even approximate), photos of the location, and your expectations regarding the look and function of the structure. The more detail at this stage, the faster we can prepare a sensible initial proposal. You can send your inquiry through our contact form, by phone, or via WhatsApp.
Step 2: Quotation
Based on the information provided, we prepare a tailored quote. We don’t have a fixed price list per m², since we take an individual approach to every project – the quote depends on the type of system, dimensions, glass type, and the complexity of installation. This means the offer reflects the actual scope of work rather than an averaged rate.
Step 3: Measurement and technical design
Once the initial scope and offer are accepted, our technician carries out an on-site measurement. We check the opening’s geometry, levels, anchoring possibilities, door-opening directions, and conditions for bringing the elements in (especially important for large glass panes and higher floors). This stage also produces the final technical documentation, which forms the basis for production.
Step 4: Production
Every structure is made to measure, according to the parameters established during the measurement. This includes cutting and processing the glass (tempering, laminating, and where needed, printing or films), preparing the aluminium or steel profiles, and assembling the fittings and mechanisms (e.g. sliding or pivot systems).
Step 5: Installation
The final stage is professional installation by our team – maintaining proper levels, anchoring, and seals. Once installed, the structure is ready to use right away, and we’re happy to advise on glass care and cleaning if needed.
How long does the whole process take?
The timeline depends on the type of system, the number of elements, the glass chosen, and component availability – so we only provide a specific schedule in the quote, once the scope has been agreed and the measurement done. It’s worth remembering that the measurement is best carried out after any construction work affecting the opening’s dimensions, floor level, and ceiling is finished – if the build is at an earlier stage, we can work provisionally from documentation, but production dimensions must be confirmed before the glass is ordered.
