Frequently asked questions
A folding system consists of several narrow panels that tuck away one behind another when opened. A guillotine window lifts the whole glass pane vertically, hiding it in the structure — better airtightness, but requires automation.
Frameless systems use tempered glass, usually 8–10 mm thick, sliding along a top and bottom track with no vertical posts between panels.
Because it lacks a continuous seal around the whole perimeter, a frameless system has lower thermal insulation than a guillotine window. For year-round use, the guillotine system is the better choice.
Yes — we offer glass windbreak shields that can be installed as a fixed panel, a liftable system, or combined with a railing, reducing gusts without blocking the view.
We do not have a price list per m2, as we take an individual approach to each project.
